Day 1 : Mission begins
Flyto Bagdogra and transfer to Phuentsholing. Complete immigration formalities and overnight in Phuentsholing.
Day 2 – A trip to Paro
Today, enjoy a 3 hour drive to Paro. Visit Paro Dzong, known for its fine architecture of Bhutan. Formerly a meeting for the National Assembly, which now houses a monastic body and district government offices. After this visit Ta Dzong, a national museum perched on a hill behind Paro Dzong. Also visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.
Day 3 – Walk TigerNest
Prepare for an exciting day as he prepares to walk to Paro Taktsang (also known as TigerNest), a sacred Buddhist monastery situated at an altitude of 3120 meters above sea level. After walking about two hours, youreach this beautiful monastery. Witness the impressive architecture and enjoy the beauty of Paro Valley. You can also visit Dzongs and other monasteries in Paro. Enjoy a pleasant time while buying souvenirs in local markets.
Day 4 – Explore the beautiful valley
After a delicious breakfast, enjoy a drive on the remote and lush green Haa Valley. This valley is home to the famous family Dorji, the Bhutanese Grandma Grandma Kesang Choden belongs. Walk Haa valley and explore Lhakhang Karpo (White Chapel) and Lhakhang Nagpo (black hood). Visit the bazaar in the city of Haa and buy interesting souvenirs. After this, return to Paro.
Day 5 – Welcome to Capital
On this day, visit the National Memorial Chorten, a huge Tibetan style chorten built in honor of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Tashichhoedzong, is a Buddhist monastery and fortress, which is also a seat of the head of the civil government of Bhutan. After that, enjoy a drive tonatural park of Kuensel Phodrang, a famous place in Thimphu known for its giant statue of Sakyamuni Buddha. This statue is 169 feet high and contains numerous chapels. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the valley from this place, which is also famous as the point of Buddha. Also, visit the famous monastery of Tango, located about 14 kilometers north of Thimphu. Dzong built in style, this monastery is known for its excellent architecture. You can also explore other famous attractions such as Trece Arts and Crafts School, Folk Heritage Museum, National Library and the traditional paper mill.
Day 6 – A abbeys
After a delicious breakfast, enjoy the drive to Punakha, a beautiful city of Bhutan, Punakha Dzong known for. On the way, stop at Dochula Pass and enjoy coffee break amidst the beautiful mountains. Then walk about 1.5 hours to Chimi Lhakhang, a beautiful convent. After this, Punakha Dzong to continue, famous for its Bhutanese architecture and one of the most beautiful Dzongthe country. It is located at the confluence of the rivers Pho and Mo Chhu Chhu Punakha-Wangdue in the valley. Also, visit Punakha Suspension Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan.
Day 7 – Essence of Bhutan
On this day, return to your last day Thimphu in Bhutan. Enjoy activities such as shopping, hot stone bath, archery lessons or just enjoy the beautiful views.
Day 8 – Back to Square One
Travel to Phuentsholing and spend a relaxing evening here.
Day 9 – Bhutan Goodbye!
